Ginger Pele retires

Great servant to the club.
The modern era divers and cheaters could learn a lot from the attitude James Collins showed.

One of my favourite ever West Ham players
Gave 110% every single game without fail, actually gave a shit about the club and putting his all into every 90 mins
Hope he gets a testimonial next pre season with fans there, give him the send off he deserves
Him and Nobes on the coaching staff in a few years will do no harm

When we went to NZ a few years back for a couple of friendlies we bumped into him. He had a Beanie on and was eating a kebab. Asked if it was ok to have a photo with him and he said yeah but i look like a tramp.

He'll be back at West Ham in some capacity one day.
That bloke put EVERYTHING on the line for our club and will forever be remembered fondly.

Good luck to the big fella.
A proper club servant who took great pride in wearing the shirt. It mattered to him. Two good stints at the club and some great moments.
Could definitely see him moving into coaching - and making a go of it.

Yea it was strange at times, he was our 3rd or 4th choice CB but when he played often looked our best CB.
I suppose I should be wishing him luck too...good luck, Ginge.

p.s. Ginge, if you're reading. I don't hear much about Luis Suarez these days. Is he still in your pocket?

Also my favourite player of his generation.
There were times, particularly towards the end, when Ginge may have been, in theory, only our third best (or even fourth best) CB. But our best CB partnership was always Ginge + A.N.Other

Nice one Ginge. All the best. (You might be pulling that shirt back on sooner than you think, knowing them two-Bob, lying parasites).
